finally, a POST taiwan trip update. Yes, I'm still lazy and kinda have no intention to blog about the two week long trip to Taiwan. Blogging about it means going through 3,000 photos from 2 different cameras deciding which pictures to use!
Back to Singapore on Sunday evening, the boy took leave the next day to spend time with me and to make up for the past 2 weeks! :) so sweet
new tank dress from supre! returning home FROM shopping country Taiwan to shopping on my bed :)
headed to parkway for food and all. I swear i love parkway. Wish i had a mall like that near my place. It even has Koi bubble teaaaaa. Ate at Sakae because i was craving for Japanese food.
the boy and his standard order, ramen in the huge bowl
amaebi sushi ^^

The next day was the annual
Free Cone Day from Ben & Jerry's! It was a last minute decision to meet up with Trecia, Violet and Janine to queue and grab our free ice cream :) The queue at the Cathay branch was insane. The end of the queue was one level ABOVE the actual store and it went more than one entire round around the mall. Funny how i actually queued up. We could all afford to buy our own cone, no?

On Thursday, Urica managed to psych me to take my puppyfaced dog to work at Haji Lane.
am probably never gna do that ever again! Hahaha! That dog can't have me out of his sight, but he's not obedient around new people (customers) either so i can't leave him to roam around. Will only bring him if wern is at the store or smth!

Friday - Seem to be meeting the Taiwan people alot, Violet and Janine joined me at Ikea to noms and view photos since i needed to make a trip there anyway.
no, i did not forget to rotate the picture. It looks weird the right way up, so i left it this way.
I ended up getting quite a far bit of stuff back. Organizational accessories for my room... which is still in the process of packing T__T when ever will i finish!

Saturday saw me attending Scape's Appreciation Lunch which was held as a get together for past participants of recent scape productions and also the contestants for the current New Media Ambassador Quest. Caught the full trailer for the first time and am still waiting for it to be out in GV!!!
Met up with wern and had lunch with him after the gathering. His face looks like that because we just had Sakae/ Jap food on Monday and I wanted it again. So stubborn him refused to eat anything while i gobbled down $20 worth of food on my own.

wah okay this picture is really quite ahlian

love this
We walked around town so much my feet were dying, but we ended up at Plaza Sing and eating .. Japanese food for dinner.
He was alot happier though, cause he picked the place. (Ajisen Ramen. He likes, I dont)

Last Tuesday, three generation outing!!! My grandma, mom and myself. We headed to my grandma's favourite restaurant for Dim Sum.
Everything was way too prawn-y but who's complaining? I love it when I get to spend time with my grandma. True, she only stays one block away but with my schedule now, i find it even hard to go over for dinner.

Probably my most fulfilling day of my holidays, yet!!! First stop - Bought new stuff from Ikea (again!)
my $300 worth of stuff
after shopping at ikea, we dropped off the items at home and headed to Raffles City's M.A.C. where mom made an appointment.
Mom was in a good mood? 4 out of 8 items are mine! :) Totally in love with my new lipstick now pink pink pink!
Also managed to pop by Centrepoint and got this!

So many more things to blog about!! I really need to blog more often hahahaha. on a sidenote, i thought it was weird to see my face on this page... when i'm not in the competition!

went to Sentosa with wern, my sis and her boyf! headed to the fish spa place first to try out the fish therapy. I've always wanted to try it but I'm not the type to pay for fishies to nimble on your feet, haaa.

turtles outside the areaso we had a choice of whether to pick small fishes, or the bigger ones which were more "aggressive" (what a great choice of word to use). the boy and i were both realllyyyy pretty scared so we stuck to the small fishes.

the aggressive ones

small fishes, we choose you!!!so we were just sitting by the pond, feet up until the girl told us to try dipping our heels inside to get used to the nibbling feeling. Everytime i felt brave enough to dip my legs inside, the boyf would dip his legs too and then start breaking out in hysterical laughter which then leads to the both of us immediately lifting our legs out of the water. repeat cycle x 100 until 20 mins was up. Then i took this video of the boyf which is mega funny but also really embarrassing so i didn't upload it.

eee look you can see the fishes faceeee

we had to keep our feet in the water to pose for this photo and then we both got used to the fishes but then 20 mins was up ): saddddddwashed our feet and headed to another area for a feet massage! :D

then after that we headed to the dolphin lagoon for the last show of the day!

i vaguely remember watching the show before, lol. it lasted a good 20 mins? then wern and I headed to the underwater world. i remember being there in primary school!

i touched the stingrays!

lungfish

not-so-cute octy

can you spot a .... crab?

The jellyfishes were my favourite part of the underwater world! I never really thought admission tickets to the underwater world and dolphin lagoon would be so expensive mainly because when i went in primary school it was probably an excursion and was subsidized/paid by my mom. would you pay 20+ (each!) to enter the two venues? it was fun though, but alot more fascinating when seen through a 7 year old's eyes.
By the time we were done with the three activities, we were super tired and we took the Sentosa express back to vivo for dinner and to shop for ziggy's present.
I kept picking out really "girly" stuff and then wern kept putting them back and insisting that ziggy's gna be really sad cause he's a male. Then we wanted to get this cute and realllyyyyy comfy brown checkered bed but the machining was super bad ): then we saw a cushion which had equal softness in blue with a dog printed on it. was gna pay for it when we spotted a exact same red one, but with a CAT printed on it.
took the red one. shh, ziggy doesn't know.

hehehe the dog on his cushion in room. he might be a really long dog but he fits really nicely on the cushion because he curls up when he's sleeping! very cute :3 i also went out with my mom the day after and we bought more chewy things for him :D

ended exams on that day, caught "The Proposal" with wenwen and violet in town and we were all so in love with Ryan Reynolds!! HAHAHA. I thought the show was great, many funny parts here and there. Walked around with the girls for abit before i headed to Raffles City to look for my dad.
So after his work we had 1.5 hours to kill before meeting my mom and sis at the dinner location. My dad then offered to take me shopping and buy me anything i wanted (good mood, it was his birthday). So juu has $300+ worth of stuff she wants to get from topshop but resisted her urge and pretended that she had nooo idea where to go. So my dad decided to walk into Harvey Norman and spend 3k.
fml.
AHAHHA, i'm kidding, it's not all that bad because he bought a camera! And a Canon at that, so we can share lenses, flash and all :D

Canon 50D with 17-85mm Kit Lens (photo credits to www.bestpc.lv)
and he got me this!

Canon Speedlight 580EX-II (photo credits to www.etown.co.nz/store)then we headed to Hanabi @ Odeon Towers for dinner!

food wasn't that good :/ but i sure was stuffed. love buffets like a pigpigpigpiggggg. hahhahaa.
p/s: took 2 hours to blog this and i'm about to publish it but i realised i have more photos from Jayden from Friday when i went to work!!! NoOoOoOoooo!!!!
